Hi. I have a sony turntable with red and white cables and need to get an HDMI converter (as cannot access back of TV to put in these cables). I understand converters with yellow ports as well will not work well so can you please recommend a converter which will work in this situation. Many thanks

Thanks for your message. I had looked at this item before, but was not sure if it would work. Thats great to get your recommendation. I only have bluetooth speakers so will have to connect via the tv.

Your speakers don't have an Aux in on them?

How about getting some nice powered speakers for music instead of using TV speakers? Adapter is a lot cheaper, but a proper solution will sound a lot better, and the cost is not much considering how much use you will have out of them over the years. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088685QV...uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl

For a bit more you can even get them with optical input to use with both your TV and the turntable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088685QV...uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl

Listening to music through TV speakers is like cheap instant coffee vs fresh ground columbian.
