So my laptop screen broke, I and bought a new one. I plugged it in and turned it on, and no screen, After researching someone suggested using a light to see if there was a picture, which there was which suggests the LED inverter was shot, After some thinking and research, LED 99% of the time do no need inverters.

So I am stuck. I have no idea what the problem could be.
I have also looked around inside my laptop for inverter which i cannot find for the life of me.
There is a webcam/mic at the top of the bezel which as a wire coming from the display ribbon. but i cannot find one online to check if that is it.

Ok, when you will measure, if you have the voltage, the screen is not compatible, if you don't have the voltage, maybe the screen is not compatible or something on the motherboard does not power the LED.
