Verizon to Give $52.8 Million for Bad Data Charges

When I upgraded my phone with Verizon last year, nothing fancy mind you, I was told that I had to get the data package at $9.99 a month! I told them that I wouldn't be using the data on my phone since I had the internet at home. It didn't matter, they said all cell phone companies are doing that! Whatever!!!!! Called them today to tell them I was going to switch to AT&T they said I could have a block on my phone for data and I wouldn't have to pay the $9.99 anymore! DUH! Ok what about the months I paid and didn't ever use the data. What about the people that was forced to get and never used it. We only get $6.00 back! Why does the FCC get all the money? They never paid my bill. That's a bunch of crock!!!
