Video playback is chopped in windows 7

Hello everybody, I have a PC with the next Specs:
windows 7, 64 bit
HDD: 750 GB
RAM: 8GB
Procesor AMD 250u, 1.6 Ghz, Dual Core with sound card integrated
Video card: NVIDIA GEFORCE 9400 GT, 1GB
pci-e card MyGica X8550A, (FOR RECEIVING TV SIGNAL)
1 IEEE 1394 FIREWIRE PCI CARD (RECORDING DIGITAL VIDEO FROM MY MINI DV CAMCORDER)
Virtual Memory: 24000 MB
Monitor: Flat Screen 15" LCD.
TV signal (coax) connected to my PC.
Every time I want to record a movie, or sports, tv show or whatever it is, I get choppy play back video. Does anybody what can I do??. Thanks.

Check out the CPU usage when you're playing the video. It may be bottlenecking your system.
