Solved! videos pause after 2-3 min

on my vista 7. on youtube and funnyordie. in real time (not time while playing). video stops after 2 1/2 to 3 min and I have to hit play again. for about 1-2 years. NOT a buffering issue. please help

use safe mode in your browser or another browser

Do you use the youtube app or an internet browser?

the app.. the one under the google icon usually
.. not just youtube though
.. also, it is intermittent but occurs 80- 90% of time, it won't happen for a day or 2 but then happens for a week or 2.

Is it connected via wifi ?
Did the internet connection change at some time? Router or provider or similar?

not wifi. doesn't matter if im moving or not

tried it. not wifi.
I assume its not a connection. it just stops as if you hit stop. when I hit play it plays right away. I think its something that cycles every 2 1/2 - 3 minutes like a program sending some sort of ping at a high priority.

I could be pulling that out of my a**, however. wifi or no doesn't matter though I know that much

I would reset the phone, backup all data before doing so
