Probably not, do you have them to try? Some subs may have a wired input also, if that one does you may be able to use a cable if the soundbar has a sub out jack.

Unlikely. Vendors want to you buy everything from them, to give you flexibility to buy any subwoofer you want would not be in their business interest.
