i have losts of movie and they all play sound in vlc but some of them wont play..why??

Pretty vague questions there. Have you tried another player ie WMP or MPC? +1 to the above posters. If you encoded them and they don't work then you know its your encoding software.

you just have to change the format of those movies which are not being played by VLC. It means vlc can not play all the formats. Check it yourself which format can VLC not play.
