hi, I'm looking for a business/multimedia laptop to buy, I need something high performance and battery life is not very important. and also, i don't play games.
should I wait for intel's haswell? or ivy bridge is ok for me?
please explain!

Solution
If battery life is not important than Haswell really wont be a big deal for you. However.. if you don't need anything right away may as well just wait.. you get a computer at the start of a chip cycle.. all the new parts that will come with it should last a while. I read somewhere that Haswell prices should come down end of 13, beginning 14

There are laptops that have Haswell in it, the Macbook air for example uses it...
