Want a solution for my laptop orange light blinking

my torshiba tecra r940-s9430 charger light is blinking orange, the hard disc cable removed, so i have to open it and fix it back but after fixing the cable back so that i can connect the hard disc, i realize when screen was not coming again and the charger liight keeps blinking orange, pls i need help as to what the problem is and how to fix it.

Let's back up a bit. Why did you remove the cable? What is this "screen was not coming on AGAIN"? Does that mean the system was not working before? Need details.

Did you try a different charger?
