Hello Folks. Since my kids love to play minecraft and some other games I want buy them some medium tier laptop.

Is it good enough for minecraft, worth money?

Looks like a refurbished office laptop. Not really a solid gaming platform, even for Minecraft.

What is a medium-tier laptop for 200 dollars? It looks like very cheap stuff is offered on Amazon for 200-300 dollars.

Minecraft will require some graphics power and a decent CPU (especially if you use texture packs or mods!). I would suggest a refurbished laptop for 300-400 euros, not less!

And if you want a solid laptop, start at least at 600 dollars—like the MSI Thin 15 with an RTX 4050 (which will be more than enough for Minecraft).

Aim for at least these parts:

• CPU: At least an Intel Core i5 (8th Gen or later) or AMD Ryzen 5.
• GPU: Dedicated graphics like GTX 1050/1650 or RTX 3050 for better performance.
• RAM: 8 GB minimum (16 GB preferred).
• Storage: SSD (256GB+).
