want to reset bios password

hi, i have a problem with a acer laptop. i bought it about 2 years ago for my brother. he lock his bios with password and now his windows crashed so i want format it but i cant boot it by external drives. i try to reset cmos battery. but it cant work. so i go to a third party repair center but they also cant fix it. they suggest me to go to acer service center. but i am not able to go there due to my busy schedule. If manage my time to go there also i dont know they can solve my porblem or not. so can you guys suggest me what can i do to fix it.

When u start the laptopl just press F12 and it will let you select the boot device. Then you can reinstall windows. To reset the BIOS battery, you will have to dissassemble the laptop, which i dont suggest.

Ask your brother for the BIOS password.

Ask your brother for the BIOS password.

before he lock the bios he disable the legacy boot so i cant go in boot device menu by presssing f12 and the intresting thing is that he forgot the bios password.
