Web cam missing

My webcam on satellite sc55 with Windows 10 w/64 bit. But web cam is totally gone. Nothing on system at all. Only hardware built-in. Therefore I can't just click on it, uninstall etc.

I have been all over the net, Toshiba, Microsoft, many forums & download sites. Can't find a driver anywhere.

Any suggestions??? Thanks. Ginny

If it doesnt appear in device manager at all (it should have something), then a driver wont help

Has anyone found an answer to this? I'm beginning to hate Windows 10. One of the first updates wiped out my CD/DVD writer, and not my webcam no longer works. The laptop (also Toshiba Satellite C55-B) has a built in webcam but Windows is reporting no webcam found and nothing shown in device manager. I've been seeing reports of this problem for a long time. Why won't Toshiba or Microsoft address it?
