Weird Audio problem?!

I have a weird audio problem. I have a set of logitech 2.1 speakers. When I plug the speakers in the green audio jack, I only get sound from 1 speaker. If I plug it into the blue jack, I get sound from both speakers. I've tried reinstalling drivers but I get the same problem from the green jack. Can someone help?

Go into settings and switch blue to green. Mic is blue and green is speakers.

The motherboard is a h61m-p21 motherboard

Where should I go for the settings? I've tried using the VIA HD control panel but couldn't find a solution to the problem.

Sounds like a defective motherboard. According to Pg. 13 of your manual, the blue port is supposed to be the line-in (orange is supposed to be the microphone). What does it say in Control Panel under Hardware and Sound --> Sound, click Speakers and select properties?
