Solved! Weird characters show up in emails

 characters are showing up with a few recipients of an email blast to our email list. We've determined that when we copy and paste the Word document, they must be hidden there. We then go to that spot on the word doc and you have to backspace multiple times to delete a space, so there is some sort of invisible formatting that is causing this. Anyone know how to reveal it? I use Word for Mac, latest version. Thanks!

There should be a show special characters option in Word. You can also minimize issues by using a standard font and keep funky add-ins like flashing words out of the document.
