Hello everyone!
Two days ago I visited a website I usually use to watch movies . Bad idea. Since then Avast keeps warning me that it blocked a trojan horse . To be more specific it's called JS:scriptIP-info[Trj].
I was like "oh my god I have a trojan horse let's fight back".
So I was dumb (mostly because Avast didn't let me use that website anymore) and the first thing I did was trying to update Avast. A nice blue screen error slapped me in the face.
Since then the blue screens errors kept coming over and over and over again and it's driving me crazy because I cannot run updates such as optional updates from Windows,Malwarebytes, troubleshooting.
The error is 0x000000F4 ( 0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA8009C37B30 ,0xFFFFFA8009C37E10 ,0xFFFFF800035D1270) just if you want to know.
I don't really want to think what's the cause. I scanned disk C and it's all right. Memory is all right. I checked.
If there are registry problems I'll go nuts even worse.
But I was thinking when the problem started..
And my conclusion is: it started when I got an antivirus/antimalware programs army to fight the virus.
Googling I found out it's not a good idea. Ok,Malwarebytes was there since July. But besides Avast I've got Windows Defender and Essentials.
It's absolutely ok if I don't try to run anything.
So I was thinking to uninstall some of these programs and I don't really know which.
I'm very fond of Malwarebytes even if my free trial (which helped me get rid of a rootkit) ended. I could uninstall Avast. I'm not very fond of it. Windows defender I would like to keep.
But hey I'm not the one who should decide.
That's actually my question. I put all my faith in you people to tell me which program I should uninstall.
And just so you know I want to run Windows defender offline tool. Will my laptop cruch again if I use it? I mean..the other ones will run in background but I want to be sure it will work. I want to make sure I don't have a virus there.
Wish you luck! And thanx for your time!
