what can cause a speaker to pick up radio signals

Am station is coming through on my nephews old mps player dock. Id like to help him out

Could be cheap construction of the device (insufficient shielding). Could be coming in through the AC line. You could try a filtered power strip. If the power cord is not a grounded cord, you could try grounding the case.
