Hello, i bought a new laptop and now, my first priority is getting to know what should i take into consideration in order to make it work fast and efficiently as much time as it is possible.
As far as i am concerned , i should avoid as much as i can, running too many processes on my laptop AT THE SAME TIME. Is it true/false ?What else should i take into account in order to make my laptop work fast and efficiently as much as it is possible ,not to get deteriorated/spoiled ?

Solution
Delete bloatware (programs installed by manufacture not needed by windows).
Disable unnecessary startup programs (task manager).
Turn power settings to maximum performance (power settings and under advanced power settings for greater control).
Add more RAM depending on what you're doing (8GB is fine for most users).
Add an SSD.
Disable antivirus or set it to scan at a time you don't think you'll use your computer.
