What chip and where is it

What chip is going bad and where in the TV is it and is there anywhere to get the chip from and replace it yourself for less than the 200?????

Impossible to say what chip is going bad since you did not provide any details, and what is "less than the 200"? Is that what someone quoted you for a repair?

You may want to start at the beginning and list your equipment, the issue and what you did already to try to fix it.
