What gives?.................My RTV hasn't turned into a pu..

It's on its eleventh day with no subscription service. Yes, the channel guide
has stopped working but that's it. Last night I recorded Saving Private Ryan
DVD. I was still able to play the movie this morning. I thought this thing was
supposed to turn into a "boat anchor" as so many of you have mentioned. Infact,
I was waiting for it to happen.

So, when is it going to turn into a pumkin?

When you most count on it to work as you wish

Example... If you just love, oh, say Crossing Jordan, and there is a
BIG episode on (like last weeks) and the hype has been hyper, and you
are counting on your RTV cause.... Well... Ms. Hottie has finally said
YES I'll go out with you... (or the job interfers, or.... or.... well
you get the idea) that's when it's going to turn into a boat anchor

Well, I don't watch that show. Also, what makes you think it will
turn into a boat anchor instead of a pumpkin.... I'd rather be it a
pumpkin. I can toss it in the trash. The garbage dude will get
pissed at me if he has to lift a big ass boat anchor into the truck!

2: Boat anchor is the term I most often see, boats come in all sizes and
thus so do their anchors

1: I did say "oh, say Crossing Jordan" You may insert the "I just can't
afford to miss it" show title of your choice (Jordan had a much hyped
episode last week is all "They loose one of their own" I don't recall
ever seeing the character they killed off before.

Boll, are you getting the nag screens? If so it is coming. My 4508 nags you for
a few days then the playback screws up.

Yea, it finally turned into a pumpkin last night. Can't do didly with
it. I wanted to how long it took and what happens. Had to see it my
self. Well, I am debating whether I should pay the $300 to RTV or buy
another one off of Ebay with the lifetime subscription. I see some
sweet deals. I can get another one with a bigger drive and a
life-time sub about $300 or just over.
