My laptop stared hibernating yesterday and still same, please advise me what I do

Need a bit more details, did you actually put it to Hibernate mode or did it do it on it's own because it ran low on battery power? Or did it just shut off and you are saying it was hibernating? Need brand and model of system. Did you try holding in the power button for 10 seconds to make sure it's off and try turning it on again? What exactly happens when you try to turn it on.
