What if there is no remote?

I have no remote to this Samsung plasma tv. What should I do to try getting out of the no picture mode, hoping that's all it is?

Most Modern TV's have buttons on the side to manually change the channel,volume, and settings. If there is no remote then you should be able to find the buttons on the side of the TV somewhere and manually navigate to the settings, then select the mode you would like

Alternatively you can use ebay to buy a compatible remote. Probably plenty of people with broken plasma screens and working remotes.

You can also purchase one from the manufacturer, but they ask like $200-300 for replacements and they may not carry older models.
