HP Pavilion DV4-3006TX

Intel Core i5-2410m 2.3GHz up to 2.9GHz
AMD Radeon HD 6750m 1GB GDDR5
4GB 1333MHz DDR3 upgradeable to 8GB

or

HP Pavilion G4-2012TX

2.5 GHz Intel Core i5-3210M
4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 7670M (2 GB DDR3 dedicated)

Solution

Pretty evenly matched, I'd go with the G4-2012TX with an extra GB of VRAM. Either way you go, pretty sure you can upgrade the RAM.

So, being equipped with GDDR5 doesn't make that much impact?

The 6750m is 6% better, but the i5 3210m is better. It honestly depends on the game and if it favors the CPU or GPU. I would personally go with the 2nd one as it is more updated, the only advantage the 1st one has is the GPU.

Its all relative. You cannot tell which card is stronger than the other based on one thing alone (GDDR5 in this case).

I would say they aree pretty much equal, but go with the 7670m. That PC has an i5 that uses far less energy while giving more performance! :)

Definitely makes a difference, but in my mind I'd rather have a couple GBs, slightly slower in speed, than 1GB. Like I said, they're evenly matched, including that area.
