"Cloud" means lots of different things. Generally it is services or applications or storage that are not at your location. You probably already use the cloud in some way. Dropbox, Windows365, many apple features are all "cloud".

For example, suppose that you access your Facebook profile, you are using software running on the front of the cloud whereas the back end consists of hardware and software architecture that allows you to see the data on the front end.
