Android users sometimes get this error when using Google Play Store or to be more precise, when they download apps from the store. It’s annoying, to say the least, and when it happens you can’t do much except to cancel the operation.
That being said, the error usually happens when Play Store updates. Luckily, the solution isn’t that much complicated and here’s what you need to do to fix the error.
Note: Depending on your mobile and your current Android version, some of the images might not look exactly like on your mobile but the steps are all the same. The difference is only in the location or in the names of some the items.
■ Find the Settings menu on your mobile phone.
■ Now find Installed apps and tap on it. Depending on the device, you might first need to find and tap on Applications, then you’ll find Manage apps or Application manager. These are the same as the Installed apps setting shown in the image.
■ Find Google Play Store among the applications and tap on it. You might need to tap on All option/tab to find the app if there is such an option on your device
■ Now, in the settings for the Play Store, click on Uninstal updates
■ A confirmation window will pop-up. Just tap on OK[b/] and you’re done.
■ With that, you shouldn’t have any more problems downloading the app, and the Play Store will automatically update at the later date so you don’t have to worry about that.
