What is my best investment: Mac 27' 5k desktop or DeLL Inspiron (or brand equivalent)?

We are an Apple family including our laptops. Though I need a powerful desktop for my interior design business. I am more comfortable with Microsoft 10 OS vs Mac for my administrative--though I need the creative platforms of Mac for editing videos and photos. Problem: Mac 27" 5k is beautiful machine tho charges $$$ to upgrade memory and would have to install Windows OS..
would be grateful for all feedback. my need for desktop is urgent!

If you will be running Windows, get a Windows computer, not pay 2x for a MAC and then have to install Windows on it anyway.

What exactly do you need this powerful system for? If you use CAD software, it will run fine on even a mid range computer in the 600-800 range.
