I will be upgrading my laptop soon and I have one "built" that I will more than likely get. Just for the heck of it I would like to know what the best laptops are for gaming and for $2000 or less.

:)

For that price I would consider the 14" Razor Blade. The specs are a bit lower than the 17.3" Asus laptop such as 1600x900 vs 1920x1080 resolution, GTX 765m vs GTX 770m, i7-4702HQ (2.2GHz) vs. i7-4700HQ (2.4GHz), etc... But at 4.14lbs it is also very portable if you plan on carrying it around with you. Also based on some user reviews the battery seems to last around 6 - 8 hours when not playing games. One post claimed many as 13 or 14 hours, but that was with the backlight turned all the way down and wifi disabled. Gaming wise it seems people are claiming they are getting anywhere from 2 - 4 hours on battery.

The 17.3" Asus makes a fine desktop replacement laptop if you do not plan on carry around the laptop with you very often since it weighs in at 8.8lbs.
