Hi i need to know if there is a default password for bios on my acer travelmate 2420

Then you are stuck. Unless you can contact the seller and ask for the password. The only other option is to open the laptop remove the CMOS battery (and laptop battery) put it back in and turn it on. But I woudlnt open it up unless you know what you are doing. Everything is so close together its very easy to break something.
