Question what is the problem with my laptop

i recently got an asus rog strix scar II with a rtx2060
and in the first day i've experienced problems. whenever i plug my laptop into an hdmi cable and play netflix i hear sound but only see the film on the laptop screen on the other screen where me film is supposed to be it is black.

on youtube when i plug in a hdmi cable the video is stuck on the monitor but is playing on the laptop screen.

on msi afterburner gpu1 keeps disconnecting and turning on.

i also updated the drivers.

so i did some tinkering and disabling hardware acceleration on chrome stopped the videos from sticking.
i selected what card i wanted to use on nvidia control panel for physx instead of auto choose/on or whatever and that fixed the problem in afterburner but i still have the problem in netflix i think it has its own hardware acceleration that i cant switch off so i guess ill be watching it on chrome instead of the app.
