What laptop should I get?

I am having some troubles deciding what to get for college. I am in the middle between an Alienware 15 or a Razer Blade Stealth. I want to be able to play an occasional game such as skyrim on high settings. Thanks for the help!

Alienware 15. It might have a worse CPU, but it has a lot better GPU in my opinion, and its CPU will still last you a long time

Kind of a noob question but what does the CPU do? Like what does it factor

The CPU is the Central Processing Unit. It fetches computer instructions from RAM and runs them, often with the help of the GPU for video. I recommend that you check with your school to see what deals and recommendations they have. It'd be a shame to spend $1000 or so on something different from what they want you to have, or to pay retail for something you could get with a discount from the school.

What is your spec requirement? Skyrim does not seem to need very high-end CPU or GPU, so pretty much you can choose from all the gaming brands, such as MSI, ROG, Alienware...

It depends on your budget and preference. On the other hand, I think you may need a slim gaming laptop, you could try to search the key words “slim gaming laptop” on Amazon.
