What laptop to get for travelling?

So this is my first post, so hi. I'm trying to buy a laptop for sub £1000 for going away on holiday, possibly 600-800 for the laptop, want to at least be able to play like new games on low settings, nice screen and that's about it, cheers!

For 1000 pounds( about $1500) I would look at the MSI 15.6" GE or GS series of laptops, They run about $1000-$1200 in the states which is still under your budget. I have a GT60 that I bought about 4 years ago with a 780M in it and it still runs every game I want to play. It very big but MSI did not have the GE or GS out at the time I got it. I travel from the US to Mexico twice a year and take it with me.
