I currently have a 144hz monitor that I use with a desktop. I am looking into getting a laptop to use for college and I want one I can hook up to my monitor for 1080p 144hz. I can spend up to 2500 and it also needs 3 usb ports. I really only need 144hz for counterstrike but with that money I am hoping it will be able to get 144fps in most games. Thank you in advance!

The vast majority of laptops have HDMI out. HDMI is limited to 60 Hz.

You'll want to find a laptop with Displayport (or mini-displayport) out. Most of those should be capable of driving a 144 Hz monitor. Coupled with a GPU capable of driving the game at 144+ FPS of course. Try Notebookcheck to get an idea which level of GPU performance you should be aiming for based on the games you want to play.
