What to do for tv

I may be taking a travel job where I maybe put in an apartment for 16 weeks. I will probably take my gaming laptop.....with all the bells and whistles. My question is..how can I watch tv like usa network. What options do I have for my computer. Ill probably have a satellite connection.

If you have cable/satellite service at home, most stations allow you to sign in using that account to watch their channels on your laptop as a streamed video. Here's the URL for USA Network. You will need to create a cable/satellite service account if you don't have one yet.

If the channel you want to watch doesn't do online streaming and you have decent Internet (upload bandwidth is key), you can get a slingbox.
