What to do with a new PC

I am going to build my first PC tomorrow and I wanted to know what programs to run and for how long I should run them for when I first boot up my PC. I have heard of the 'Torture Test' and won't be overclocking

You just want to be checking whether it is fully functional, just use it for an hour or so. Then you can try the stress test on the CPU and GPU. If you want to feel safe test your memory as well. Download some games and have a go at it. My first PC, I didn't do any test and it was all good anyway.

Oh and check for all the latest update, whether it is GPU,BIOS, update them all.
