What will gaming laptops be like in 2015

Just want to know if I should wait to buy a laptop next year or buy it this year. I would most likely be buying on July but should I wait until next year

The problem with this kind of question is it can lead to "Should I just wait until 2016" and so on. You spend more time waiting to play games than actually doing so. Sure, we do like to have future-proof systems somewhat, but it eventually gets to the point where your time is spent waiting, instead of enjoying games in the now.

I agree with reesemonster, it's better to get the best you can afford ATM, unless a new line of GPUs (or something like that) will be coming out in a month or so.

Going off the previous post, it's impossible to predict what kind of leap the next generation of CPU and GPU is going to make. The only thing for sure is that whatever comes out will probably be old-tech in 2-3 years anyway considering how the mobile market works.

You're better off buying now.
