when i put a disk into my windows 7 laptop it dosnt work i can hear the motor going but nothing happens(i have used dicks,cds,dvd and games on my laptop before) can you please help me? 😀

The autoexec function got disabled somehow. Somewhere in control panel you can reset that to the default actions.

Can you open the disc by double clicking or right clicking and exploring?

Could be the Windows Hi lo filter thing in the registry, quite common in Vista and 7

no womble i cant open the disk

when it is loading the cursor has a little disk at the side of it but nothing happens

do you know wher abouts the autoexec function is because i have looked all over the control panel but i cant find anything

Perhaps the disc does not have an autorun, or the standard windows autoplay is disabled. Have you tried viewing the disc under My Computer/Windows Explorer.

If you want to check your autoplay settings, it is in the Control Panel, under the Autoplay item.
