Where are Google Security Settings? Everything you Need to Know

Google probably has the greatest amount of information on you out of any website out there. The company knows when and what you searched for, what Youtube video you watched and so on. Also, many websites or apps have a google account login for ease of access so that’s another chunk of information they have.

So, it’s very important to know where to find their security settings and what you can do with them. So, here are the steps on how to do that.


    ■ Type www.google.com in your favorite browser’s address bar of and press Enter.

    ■ Click on the blue Sign In button (if you’re not logged in) in the top right corner and provide your credentials to log in to your account.

    ■ Once signed in, click on the profile icon in the top right corner.

    ■ Click on the blue My Account button to access your account’s settings.

    ■ Click on the Sign-in & Security, on the left side of the page.

    ■ In here you can find everything related to the security of your account. The first section includes password security and verification, and account recovery options

    ■ Scrolling down, you can find security events (Google will inform you anytime if there is some suspicious activity on your account) and device activity.

    ■ At the bottom of the page, you’ll find the apps with account access section. Here you can review and manage apps that have access to your account.

    ■ Make sure you to check everything and change whatever you want. Account security is important, so do everything in your power to keep your account safe.
