Where are my photos

I take a photo, it shows that it is saved by sliding to the side and clicking. When I open Google Photos or Camera Roll, there is no trace of it, where has it gone.

You will need to check the settings in the camera to see where they are being saved to. Then make sure that the gallery or google photos are set to view them from there.
