Where are the techs/help located when calling Kapersky Labs? What country?

When needing help or information for Kapersky, where does the help call get answered from, what country? I loved Avast, but they have recently made changes that messed up my computer. I called for help to their 800 number and someone in the Philippines answered, he talked fast and I could not catch much of it, then he went off to talk to a supervisor twice while still hooked into my computer. My computer screen went black, so I do not know if he was into my computer during the 10 or so minutes he was gone, both times. I have uninstalled Avast, most of it, still finding some files which I delete. I need a new Security!

All over the world. Wherever you call from, you are in a region. The central connection knows what region you are in when you call and will connect you with a call center in a different region. This attempts to prevent seriously aggravated p from going postal and hunting down the tech who couldn't help, got nasty or hung up on you. You'll never get anyone on the phone who is local or even close.
