Where can i find blocking activeX in my PC

I have problem updating windows but someone suggested disabling activeX and I don't know where to find it. My bad..

ActiveX controls are found in your browser settings. In Internet Explorer, you will find them under Tools/Internet Options/Security and from there you modify the settings you desire. Good luck!

Bros, I've seen them thanks, but windows update is still not responding please do you know any other way I can deal with this problem. Thanks

Are you using your own personal PC or is this one at work and a member of an Active Directory domain?

If you own system, are you running Windows Update as an administrator?
