Which antivirus to use

Need free antivirus for my new build. Is AVG still free or is Avast better? If you have a suggestion let me know

I use Avira Free Antivirus. It lets me know when there is a virus and it asks me if I want to remove it or not. It updates itself every time I switch on my computer.

Avast and Avira free versions are ok
I personally use Avast at the moment

Still using AVG to this day and still no issues, and yes its still free http://free.avg.com/ca-en/homepage

You can ask anyone and they will tell you to stay away from AVG. A better free solution would be either avast! or Avira. They do much better in the independent lab testing as well as my own personal tests.

I'm currently trialling Avast!'s full version. Between it and MBAM, they're doing the job a bit too well
