#2 is your best bet. Find out what requirements that games that you want to play have though. If you're looking at playing games like WOW, then #1 would be fine. Looking to play really graphic intensive games, then #2 is what you want to go with. Just thought I would mention in case cost is an issue.
Definitely the i5 proc, I would prefer an Nvidia GPU but you can't always get what you want. Might be a better config, what's your price point and what manufacturers have you been looking at?

Well i don't really care about what brand the laptop is from because i'm gonna get a new laptop for college in 2 years.
I'm only gonna use this laptop for gaming at home. The reason i'm getting a laptop over a pc is because i switch between my dad's and mom's house every week. So i don't really care about build quality and stuff.
The site i was looking displayed the wrong price so laptop 2 turns out to be much more expensive.
But i found a cheaper laptop with a better videocard but the cpu is slower.
The specs are:
Intel pentium B950 2,1ghz
HD 7670M
4GB ram
And a 1600x900 display (Which is nice because the screen is better than laptop 1's screen)
Pentium, i3 and i5 are dual core cpu.
The only difference is the i3 and i5 have hyper threading which makes them have 4 threads instead of two.
1600x900 display is better in my opinion compared to 1366x768.
4GB ram is enough.
The HD 7670 should be enough for gaming at that resolution with mid-high settings and it is faster than GT 620M.
