Which Laptop is Better?

Hi!

I'm thinking of buying a laptop. I have 2 different choices:

Dell

The Acer laptop has a better and newer graphics card GT 730m while the dell laptop has better screen resolution 1080p but a slightly slower card i7 3632qm while the acer has i7 3630qm. The dell laptop also has a backlit keyboard but is a pound heavier(weight doesn't really matter).

I would go for the Dell since you get more storage and RAM. The processing is barely slightly less and the gfx card is fine.

Both of the HDDs run at 5400 RPM - which in this day of SSD drives you will be smoked when it comes to boot times, startup times, noise, even power and overall smoothness of running things an SSD is just amazing.

If one of these had an SSD pre-built then that would be my goto choice.

They don't have an extra slot but here is what you can do:

You could just replace the HDD with your new SSD (when purchased) and keep your DVD drive in and put your HDD in an enclosure and use it for data. Speeds are not important there so much.

ALTERNATEIVELY:

Purchase an HDD laptop bay and you put your HDD in there. Place the SSD where the primary drive is (Sometimes manufacturers degrade the secondary slot and therefor you would put the lesser of the two drives in that slot).

There are USB to SATA adapter connections you can use on your DVD drive so you can still use that. Purchase an enclosure for it for when you need to read or write to DVDs.

Thank you for all your help! The acer laptop has a gt730 which is of the kepler architecture. Its newer and better than the dell video card. But the dell has the backlit keyboard and better screen res. I'm really confused. I want atleast medium graphics gaming which I can get only if I buy the gt 730.
