Hi, I am new in the community and I really need help deciding which laptop to use for my everyday needs as a college student and a gamer. I want to know which is BETTER for gaming and Photoshop...Also, which one would most likely last longer.

Here are the laptops:
(this models might only be available in my country, which is the Philippines)

.1 MSI GP60 2QE "Leopard"
-i5 - 4210H
-940m graphics card
-4gb ram( will upgrade to 8gb or more)

-750m
-4gb ram

Neither graphics card is exactly a...
For gaming, the GT 750m is the slightly better GPU. As for which one would last longer, I don't know.

Here is the (very) general explanation of MSI laptops:

GT = high end Intel gaming laptop
GE = mid range Intel gaming laptop
GS = slim - high/mid range Intel gaming laptop
GX = high/mid range AMD gaming laptop (depending on game and your POV)
GP = slim - low range Intel gaming laptop

HI! Thanks for replying and for the saying the 750m laptop is better, but the problem is i think its an old model??.. wouldn't it struggle performing future games or softwares rather than the 940m which is this "year" graphics card model? I might use the laptop till i finish college (4-5 years hopefully)

The GTX750 one is better i think. CPU is 4th gen. The most important thing in a computer is CPU and GPU.

Neither graphics card is exactly a world beater. They will both probably struggle playing future games well. The vintage of a particular card isn't necessarily an indicator of its abilities. The 750m is still marginally superior to the 940m. http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GT-750M-vs-GeForce-940M.

P.S. Both laptops are a little low on RAM.
