Which laptop is the better choice for school

i will be doing mostly school work, browsing the internet, and occasionally light gaming. The msi comes with a 32bit OS, is it possible to reinstall it with a 64 bit OS? I am leaning towards the MSI, but i am not very familiar with this brand. Is MSI a reliable laptop brand compared to HP? Has anyone dealt with any problems with MSI or HP?

I agree. I'd shoot for the MSI, as I think you'll be happier with the performance over an i3 for everyday use and light gaming. Plus, MSI is a more reliable brand than HP, at least in my opinion. In regard to installing a 64 bit OS, it shouldn't be a problem, especially if you want to take advantage of the full 4GB of RAM that comes with it.
