Which of these laptops are better

What kind of set up are you looking at for the Clevo, i.e. your choices aren't saved in the link? What are your plans for either, i.e. gaming, etc...?

I will be doing some gaming but no hardcore stuff like crysis or metro 2033. I wanted to have the =$60 HD screen for the clevo and basically a core i3 that i already have. I am going to buy 4 GB of memory off ebay and i currently have a 250 GB 7200 2.5" hard drive that i will be using. So basically i will be using the same cpu, ram and hdd for either one of these choices.

P.S. Starcraft2 is the only game i play. Other than that, i basically use it for the usual internet, movies, music, etc..

here are the specs:

MEMORY: 4 GB DDR3 1333
Hard drive: 250 GB 7200 rpm SATAII

MSI $562:

CPU: Core i3 350M 2.26 GHZ
MEMORY: 4 GB DDR3 1333
Hard drive: 250 GB 7200 rpm

if you compare the graphics card then definitely the 2nd one is much better as both have same processor, but if you want 1080p screen in laptop then go with 1st (gt425 is 20-25% slower than 5730 and 5-10% slower than ati 5650, but it consumes power very much)

Is the screen on the clevo much better or slight better?

the clevo which u mentioned in 530$ is without processor and ram and hdd, after adding them price is going to normal (i.e: 750-800$) Considering that if you are hard budget go with 2nd one. Also the graphics card in MSI(5730) is 20-25% more powerful than GT425 in clevo
