Which one should i get?

I'm an average gamer who will soon be attending college so the laptop has to be good for school and gaming. I'm stuck between the HP Envy 15 and the Lenovo Y50. HP is manufactured refurbished Lenovo is new. I'll list the prices and specs.
HP Envy 15 $650:
Intel Core i7-4710HQ Quad Core 2.3ghz
8GB RAM (up to 16)
1TB 5400 rpm HDD
NVIDIA GeForce 840M with 2 GB
1366x768 Screen resolution

Lenovo Y50 $720:
Intel Core i7-4720HQ Quad core 2.6ghz
8GB Ram (up to 16)
1TB 5400 rpm HDD and 8GB SSD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M with 2 GB
1920x1080 Screen resolution.

The hp I'm getting from eBay and I'm watching a couple but the lenevo is from best buy.

The Y50 has a much better GPU. And a higher rez screen. That would be my pick.

The Lenovo is much more worth it, and it's not even refurbished. Better screen, SSHD included, better GPU and better CPU. Hands down a better choice.
