I have a Sony Vaio laptop VPCSB25FG, I want a 500 GB SSD, which one should i buy for best performance, SATA or NVMe or which one, which company, which configuration is best and compatible

Looks to me, based on the specs found below, that your only option is to replace your 2.5 inch HDD with a SATA 2.5 inch SSD.
