While watching Netflix, screen went to black. Now TV goes to black every time it is turned on.

My SamsungSmart TV goes to black every time I turn it on. I was watching something on Netflix went it went to black. I can't connect to anything because nothing shows up but a black screen. Is my TV dead? It's only 3 or 4 years old.

It sounds like the power supply on your TV failed. Very common failure mode on many TVs due to low temperature capacitors. You can take it to a tech for repair or if you feed comfortable you can try a replacing a board your self.
