I was at an electronics store the other day, where they offer 3.5 mm plugs for you to test their various audio systems. I was thinking that if my iPhone didn't have a 3.5 mm jack, I'd be SOL. I agree that this is a big mistake.

This is going to ruin the iPhone experience. The sound quality that you gain will be lost when you connect your headphones to some weird adapter that will undoubtedly, get lost or brake. This "mac" will be an "android".
