Question Why are windows laptop cameras so bad compared to other's?

This is probably a frequently asked question but why do most windows laptops have a generally bad camera when compared to the Mac's?. I just brought a new gaming laptop and the camera is awfully and i know that its a "gaming laptop" but they could've added a pretty decent camera for the price right?

because windows usually cheaper
